Our Vision

What makes us unique as a church body? We’re a Jesus-loving, Bible-believing Reformed church in Newburgh, Indiana. But what really makes us unique?

Number one, we are a church for real people. Life is too short for pretending—too short for shallow smiles that hide our sins and struggles. The gospel of Jesus Christ calls us into the light, where grace meets truth, and where His blood-bought people can walk in honesty, forgiveness, and hope.

Number two, we believe the family is the bedrock of the world. If we raise up and equip godly fathers and mothers who know how to lead, love, and shepherd their homes, that strength will flow outward into healthier families, stronger communities, and a better world for King Jesus.

Our Beliefs

We believe in the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
God made everything good. But mankind sinned against Him. Because we’re all born sinners, we deserve God’s judgment. Still, God loved us enough to send His Son, Jesus, to live the life we couldn’t live, die the death we deserved, and rise again so we can be forgiven. When God gives us new hearts by His Spirit, we turn from our sin and trust in Jesus. He keeps us as His children forever and will one day make all things new.
We believe the Bible is God’s Word.
Every word is inspired by God. Every word is true. Even the ones that aren’t popular in 2025. We love the Bible and build everything we do on it.
We believe the Reformed faith captures the big truths of Scripture.
That means we believe God is completely in control of everything. The Bible is our final authority. God makes covenant promises to His people. And we’re saved by what Jesus has done—not by what we can do. We follow the Westminster Standards because they help us stay grounded in these truths.
We believe baptism is important—but not something to divide over.
Some of us baptize our babies. Others wait until someone can profess faith. We don’t think this difference should break fellowship. In every case, we believe baptism doesn’t save—it points to the Savior who does.
We believe men and women are wonderfully different by God’s design.
Men are called to lead, protect, and provide. Women are called to help, nurture, and build. Both are equal in value, and both reflect God’s image. We think His design is beautiful—and worth embracing, even when it runs against the grain of our culture.
